Story

TriStar Glass is using a Carlson Lami Cutting System in their laminating room to reduce material handling, waste, and production time.  Their machine had a 6 month ROI and has cut over 200 miles of material in the 3 years it's been in service.

Results

Reduce 10-15% material waste per layup (double for .060”, triple for .090”). Eliminate post process trimming and trim related material stretch which can cause bubbling. Layup time is much faster for multiple layer processing because precise, properly sized parts to be quickly stacked. Parts are cleaner because of less handling.
